All photography is produced using the very latest state-of-the-art digital camera gear, and utilises a fully digital workflow from image capture to client approval and distribution via online asset management system, providing instant access to high-resolution images for clients and media partners.

Simon Kirwan is a photographer specialising in lifestyle marketing, live event, architectural, aerial, and landscape photography for corporate, advertising and marketing clients. In 2000, Simon was named the Observer Outdoor Photographer of the Year, and as well as photographing live events like the Liverpool Summer Pops for ACC Liverpool, operators of Echo Arena Liverpool and BT Convention Centre Liverpool, is the author of a series of landscape and aerial photography books, and also produces corporate and event photography for a diverse range of clients all over Europe.

In 2007, Simon worked on projects in Spain, Holland, Belgium, and Poland, as well as locations all over the UK. Simon Kirwan is a member of the Association of Photographers, and alongside his event, aerial, architectural, lifestyle marketing, public relations, corporate and advertising photography, has travelled extensively in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa producing images for The Lightbox, one of the UK’s longest-established photography web sites, which houses a collection of over 10,000 travel images, and can be viewed at http:// http://www.the-lightbox.com.

Simon Kirwan utilises a full digital workflow, including real-time capture, upload and transmission of images from live events. High-resolution images are wirelessly transmitted from camera to laptop, then automatically uploaded to a web site for download. This system was successfully utilised in Paris in June 2009 for the Hertel Management Conference in Paris, when over 2700 images were captured and uploaded over a four-day event.

Simon Kirwan’s aerial photography is utilised by architects, construction companies, local authorities, urban regeneration projects, and property developers. We use on-camera GPS for geo-tagging of aerial photographs, which precisely locates the position of the aircraft when the picture was taken.

In 2009, Simon Kirwan carried out an oblique aerial survey of the coast of North West England, from the Solway Firth on the Scottish border to Great Orme’s Head in Wales, documenting over 400km of open coastline and 16 river estuaries, producing over 3000 high-resolution aerial photographs.

For aerial and architectural photography, we use the 24.5mp Nikon D3x, the highest resolution DSLR camera available, which produces images of extremely fine detail. We cover the whole of England and Wales from our bases at City Airport Manchester, and Mid Wales Airport at Welshpool.
